As A poker Pro  it is not Always great to travel, yes there are  nice places and we do are getting surprised by the people and friendliness when you arrive many times in different ways.

Well here is some lines about being surprised in Nottingham with its 1.200.000 population.

1. UK, traveling to Nottingham lately for the UKIPT special with a Million Guarantee prise pool and a buy in from 700 lately was a surprise: they needed 1429 players and did end up more than 1500  WOW!

Not only have the DTD Casino being matured and serves outstanding events and Quality for every pound you spend on it and in it , but is definitely focused on the needs to be serving players interest at all times. (being friends with PokerStars does help a lot I think ;))

2. surprise: But… lol… the UK weather supposed to be  mostly rain and tears… and was fantastic so a bonus, Rob told me by picking me up that he ordered this weather and I believe him ;)

Another surprise hit me when I was there only this weekend to finish my Omaha Cash game and promises to be back soon, I Had a fantastic trip, food and being served well, knottiest  that they do use the International poker Rules and are by far the biggest-best live Poker room In Europe.

Little did I know that Rob and the Devilfish “David Uliott “would entertain me so much during our games over the weekend.

It was great to play 1 table and relax a bit away from the online games and test my improvement on skills I probably have picked up by playing online so much during the last years.

Rob Yong , Friend but owner of the place is driven by trying to be the best HU player, so be aware when he is the only caller you get in a hand no matter in what game your in ;)

I have tried to (out) play him but think to try that again with the new board game,www.pokerchamp.net instead later ;)

In the live game is the Q, Does he bluff allot? Well If you don’t end up with the nutz, he maybe does?

 so let’s say he is a very open player and a dare devil but a fair but dangerous opponent to have.

Trying to warm up for the WSOP this year coming I think this was a great  experience and I will be back again and again after…try to beat or avoid Rob again in the games ;)
